General

On the opening day, all rides, beer tents and stalls are open from 11 am. Subject to change without notice.

No, admission to the Stuttgart spring festival is free. Of course, you have to pay to enjoy the rides, fairground attractions and beer tents. Wednesdays are always Family Day, with special offers and reduced prices.

Yes, the site security service and the police will be present at the entrances and will also carry out access controls. They are also available to all visitors as a direct point of contact.

Bags and backpacks larger than A4 size are not allowed on the fairgrounds and must be left at the luggage storage facility.

We therefore recommend that you do without backpacks and large bags. It's best to leave everything you don't need for the party at home, because the fastest way to get to the Wasen is without a backpack or bags.

The following items are not permitted: pepper spray, cutting, striking, thrusting, stabbing, and firearms, electric shock devices, corrosive and staining liquids, pyrotechnics, gas-filled balloons, and similar items with metal-coated surfaces. Baseball bats and similar sports equipment, bulky items, and flags are also not permitted.

Drinks and Bottles of any material, cups, jugs or cans are also not permitted. Tetra Paks up to 0.5 liters per person are permitted.

When it comes to umbrellas, small foldable umbrellas are permitted on the festival grounds.

Amateur photographers and videographers are very welcome here. You are welcome to bring your camera equipment (including tripods) onto the festival grounds. Please present your equipment to the security staff at the entrances. Please be patient while going through the security check. Before you arrive, please take a look at our rules of conduct for the festival grounds. Mutual consideration is of the utmost importance.

Members of the media should contact the press team with an accreditation request.

More and more tents and stalls now accept card payments. However, there are also several ATMs on the festival grounds where you can quickly and easily withdraw cash. We recommend bringing both cash and debit or credit cards for payment, and checking your daily withdrawal limit beforehand. Some vendors have a minimum amount for card payments (for example, 50 euros or more at the Wasenwirt festival tent office).

Please understand that animals are not permitted on the festival grounds. An exception is the carrying of guide dogs, this is possible without restriction.

Yes, there is a lost property office. It is located in the blue container in front of the white administration building of the in.Stuttgart event company.

If you get your lost property back, an administrative fee of €5 will be charged.

After the end of the spring festival, the lost and found office is no longer staffed. Please contact the municipal lost and found office instead on +49 711 216 89 893.

Please note:

Parking in the designated resident parking areas around Cannstatter Wasen is not permitted. Avoid unnecessary traffic searching for parking spaces and observe the residential area restrictions. Regular checks are carried out.

There is a spacious parking lot for people with disabilities marked with the letter “G.” From these parking spaces, you can access the festival grounds at ground level. Further informations for people with disabilities can be found at Accessibility.

 

Of course! But please observe the site regulations. It is not permitted to bring glass bottles (including so-called “Klopferle”,...) onto the festival grounds. In addition, no goods may be sold while walking around.
