Accessibility

Visiting the Stuttgart spring festival is also possible for people with disabilities.

Tips for people with disabilities
  • The Wasen parking lot (P10) offers ground-level access to the grounds.
  • With a parking permit marked “G”, parking in the disabled parking spaces is possible and free of charge.
  • If you are traveling by public transport, the special U11 and U19 lines also provide barrier-free access to Wasen for wheelchair users.
  • There is a toilet for people with care needs (toilet for all) behind the corner of the Wasenwache police station in the direction of the “Cannstatter Wasen” tram stop.

Barrier-free spring festival

Almost all festival streets and the flea market are asphalted and the entrances to all tents are equipped with wheelchair-accessible ramps.

There are free, assisted toilets for people with disabilities in the beer tents and, of course, on the fairground. Festival hosts and snack bar operators are very helpful and remove beer benches on request so that wheelchair users can comfortably roll up to the tables.

Whether it's the ferris wheel, wild water ride, wild mouse or other rides - almost every operator will make the ride of your choice possible so that your day at the Stuttgart Spring Festival is unforgettable.

Toilet for all

For many people, using public toilets is a matter of course. However, people with severe disabilities who cannot use a “common” toilet, people with limited mobility, and families with small children have special needs.

The modern and proven “toilet for all” system provides a solution here. The toilet for all is easily accessible via a ramp and equipped with everything that is relevant for people with disabilities.

The “toilet for all” helps to make the spring festival more inclusive, step by step. If you do not have a key for the toilet for all, please speak to the cleaning staff on site. They will be happy to help you.

The public restroom is located at the corner of Wasenwache, towards the “Cannstatter Wasen” tram stop. Further information: www.toiletten-fuer-alle.de
