Opening ceremony and barrel tapping
Saturday, April 20th 2024 - 11.30 a.m.
The Stuttgart Spring Festival will once again be opened this year by Wasen Mayor Thomas Fuhrmann with the traditional barrel tapping at 11.30 a.m. in the "Göckelesmaier" tent. All stores will be open from 11 am.
VVS-Wasen-Day
Monday, 22nd April 2024
On VVS-Wasen Day, Wasen fans with a VVS ticket, subscription or Deutschlandticket can save money at the spring festival. Many showmen offer discounts on presentation of a valid ticket.
In addition, at the VVS Hocketse in the Göckelesmaier festival tent, all subscription and annual pass holders can present their ticket at the counter and receive a free pint of beer or a soft drink. With all other VVS tickets, the beer is half price.

VfB-Wasenday
Tuesday, 23rd April 2023
Members of the VfB Fritzle Club (including one accompanying person) as well as season ticket holders and members of the VfB Stuttgart youth club (without accompanying person) can look forward to great discounts on this Tuesday of the Stuttgart Spring Festival. The participating businesses have displayed corresponding posters at the cash desks or stands. Of course, Fritzle will also be visiting the Wasen in the afternoon and be available for photo shoots in the fruit column area.
Family days and mascot get-together
Wednesday, April 24th, Tuesday, April 30th, Wednesday Mai 8th 2024
Every week there is a family day at the Stuttgart Spring Festival. The showmen and innkeepers invite you to spend a fun-filled day on the Wasen at reduced prices. From 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. are there also hands-on activities, balloon artists and many other surprises in store for young visitors to the Spring Festival.
In keeping with Family Day, the Spring Festival will also be colorful and fluffy on May 8, 2024. That's when the mascots will once again be on the loose around the information pavilion on the Cannstatter Wasen from 2 pm to 4 pm. Some cheerful "lucky charms" from the region will welcome young and not-so-young alike to the festival and provide plenty of fun and entertainment.

Linda Ade invites you to the ecumenical Wasengottesdienst in her beer garden.
Big balloon race
Saturday, 27th April 2024 - 4 p.m.
Every year, the fox flight of the balloons is a real highlight of the spring festival. In addition to up to 15 hot air balloons, several gas balloons also take to the skies above the Cannstatter Wasen. Preparations begin at around 2 p.m. and the first balloons are scheduled to take off at around 4 p.m.

Traditional costume fashion show
Sunday, May 5, 1:00 / 2:30 / 4:00 p.m.
For the first time there will be a traditional costume fashion show in the Albdorf. It is the counterpart to the alpine costume. The fashion shows each last approx. 30 minutes and are offered by the traditional costume specialist Amadeus.
Music fireworks
Sunday, May 14, 2023 - 9:30 p.m.
Every year, the Stuttgart Spring Festival bids farewell with a musical firework display. For around 15 minutes, the sky above the Cannstatter Wasen is transformed into a colorful sea of lights.
