In the "Albdorf" (Alb village), the topic of regionality is high on the agenda. The new concept replaces the former Almhüttendorf and will continue to be run by Karl Göbel.
In the Albdorf, at least 75 percent of the products offered by the operators of the huts must come from Baden-Württemberg; preferably from the Alb region as well as from Württemberg. In addition, there will be two more themed campaign huts under the motto "The Black Forest greets the Alb" and "Spirits from Baden".
The "Albdorf" is being built at the Wasen as part of the regional campaign "Natürlich.VON DAHEIM" (Naturally.FROM HOME) of the Ministry of Food, Rural Areas and Consumer Protection. Among other things, the campaign aims to make clear that every product has its own story. The aim is also to encourage consumers to buy products from the region.
