Once treated a little neglectfully, these days it marks the start of the festival season in the state capital of Baden Württemberg – the Stuttgart Frühlingsfest. After the long winter break, the spring festival on the co-called “Wasen” is awash with traditional carousels and the latest funfair rides and attractions for three weeks beginning in the middle of April.
Europe’s biggest and most attractive spring festival is always well worth a visit, especially for families. The “little brother” of the Cannstatter Volksfest is ideal for both a gentle stroll around the funfair and full blood partying. In recent years, it has grown to become a major visitor attraction.
